The External Measuring System is a combination of Hauni’s KDF4 filter maker and Sodim’s Sodiline test station, enabling automatic sampling of filter rods for closed loop control.
The system makes it possible to check the diameter, pressure drop and weight of the filter rods continuously as they are produced, then displays the results. If the diameter or the pressure drop deviates from the preset values, the relevant parameters are automatically corrected.
According to the manufacturers, this also renders the machine more convenient to operate and ensures dependably high product quality with optimum material consumption. |
