JAPAN TOBACCO | Caster line redesigned

25 Jun 2012. Japan Tobacco has redesigned the packaging on six of its Caster products to “better convey the sense of refinement,” while retaining flavour and taste, the company announced on 25 June.

Frontier Lights box will be shifted to the Caster line, JT said. Frontier is a 1 mg tar product that also will receive a new package. The new packages will be rolled out in a sequence beginning in August.</o:p>

Redesigned packaging will feature a seal that evokes a sense of tradition and quality, and carry an additional identifying label taken from music terminology. Labels will be expanded to include Symphonic, Harmonic and Melodic below the Caster brand. The first Caster product was introduced in 1982. (ci)</o:p>
