Philip Morris Germany to speak at TJI Campus

07 Sep 2017. Maximilian Jell, head of regulatory affairs and reduced risk products at Philip Morris GmbH (PMG), will hold a presentation at the TJI Campus ‘Industry 4.0’ international workshop in November in Mainz.

Jell’s presentation, entitled “The digital challenge: will risk-reduced tobacco products lead to a paradigm shift for tobacco regulation or just more of the same?” will reveal how advances in tobacco technologies, such as heat-not-burn, would not be possible without the digital revolution and are posing significant challenges for manufacturers.

Jell joins other confirmed speakers for the 2-3 November event: Dr Bernd Pape, head of digitization at Hauni Maschinenbau, Hans Michael Krause, head of business development in the industry sector at Bosch Rexroth, Justinas Liuima, senior analyst at Euromonitor International, and Stephan Lammers, global director of packaging at Saueressig.
