Konradin Media Group

As of 1 January 2007 Tobacco Journal International became part of Konradin Selection GmbH, a subsidiary of Konradin Mediengruppe (Konradin Media Group).

The basis for the present focus of the magazine division of Konradin Selection was created when the newspaper Die Tabak Zeitung www.tabakzeitung.de was founded in 1891. This weekly publication remains the only independent source of specialist information for the German tobacco trade. It is mainly for wholesalers and retailers. Konradin Selection also publishes Smokers Club, a quarterly magazine for pipe and cigar smokers as well as the annual Tabakjahrbuch, which contains detailed information and addresses on the German tobacco industry.
