Rhodia Acetow produces and supplies to the community the equivalent of 40 per cent of electricity consumed
The Freiburg factory was originally built because the site was a humid bog forest and suffered from a mosquito plague – the plant was supposed to do away with the plague (which it did)
Nowadays Rhodia Acetow restores to the Mooswald forest more than 80 per cent of the consumed water to refuel the water table
