Alliance One International (AOI) and Ioto International created a US-based joint venture to produce and distribute e-liquids for the growing e-cigarette market, the companies said.

Ioto E-Liquids America ownership is shared equally and the JV is located in Greenville, North Carolina. “AOI is a well-respected global leaf merchant and combined with Ioto's world-wide market position in flavours and other specialty products, establishes a solid base to grow our new company. The JV's research and development driven culture, production capability and distribution network is dedicated to delivering unique world class products and service,” Ioto said.
“We see significant growth potential for this business segment based on increasing industry opportunities and our strengthening competitive position," said Anthony Dillon, AOI director of global strategic projects.
