The twin trade fairs InterTabac and InterSupply will take place in a smaller capacity and via a virtual platform from the 3rd to the 4th of November 2020, according to Messe Dortmund.

It became clear a few weeks ago, that due to COVID-19 the trade fairs would not be able to take place in their planned format this year. After weeks of planning, Messe Dortmund has now announced the “ITS Hub” a platform which will allow everyone to attend InterTabac and InterSupply virtually from the 3rd to the 4th of November.
“With the hybrid version we offer a world of experience on site as well as virtual participation. In this way we create the possibility of holding an event with an experiential character even under the existing corona conditions,” a statement on the official ITS Hub site reads.
The trade fairs will take place in Dortmund in a much smaller capacity following all necessary distance and hygiene rules. The ITS Hub will make it possible for all visitors and exhibitors that are not able to attend to follow all the speakers and discussions rounds in English thanks to modern translation technology.
“We will be using tools that allow you to take part in surveys or ask questions on the current topic. With this combination, participants will be able to interactively participate on their end devices. In addition, there will be streamed video tours of innovations from the various areas at regular intervals, which can also be watched live and afterwards,” the website says.
