The Altria Group on Friday completed the spin-off of Philip Morris International (PMI) to shareholders of Altria Group (Altria).

The distribution of 100 per cent of the PMI shares was made to Altria’s shareholders of record on 19 March. Altria shareholders received one share of PMI stock for every share of Altria common stock outstanding on the record date.
PMI shares will begin regular trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PM," as well as the NYSE Euronext Paris and SWX Swiss exchanges, on 31 March. Altria shares will continue to trade under the symbol "MO".
Altria will move its corporate headquarters to Richmond, Virginia. (pi)
