Ammeraal Beltech has acquired two belting distributors in Ireland and Northern Ireland to bolster its presence in the region, the company said.

Fogarty Belting, based in the Irish capital Dublin and Lisburn, in Northern Ireland and B&H Precision Belting in Belfast both have been in the regional market for more than 35 years, the industrial belt maker said. “With this transaction, Ammeraal Beltech is looking to increase its penetration in those markets,” said Chief Executive Officer Prakash Iyengar.
Ammeraal Beltech sells its products in more than 150 countries and employs 2,500 people. Based in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, turnover last year was EUR 368 million (USD 390 million).
