British American Tobacco (BAT) is constructing an international logistics hub in the port of Piraeus capable of handling 3.1 billion cigarettes annually, according to Kathimerini.
Five BAT factories will ship up to the facility located at a subsidiary of shipper and terminal operator Cosco Pacific, the newspaper said in a story posted on its English language website, ekathimerini.com. The BAT site is expected to ship to countries in the Mediterranean region, the Middle East and Africa.
