British American Tobacco (BAT) is launching its glo™ in Cyprus in a bid to reduce the health impact of its business, reports the Cyprus Mail.

The launch is expected to significantly boost the Cypriot economy and society by creating a number of new jobs as well as supporting the country’s retailers and distributors. Launching glo™ is part of BAT’s bid to encourage cigarette smokers to switch to reduced risk alternatives and thus reduce the health impact of its business in line with its A Better Tomorrow™ claim.
The introduction of glo™ will also impact the retail sector that has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as it will enrich the range of products through its induction heating technology, reports the Cyprus Mail.
