BAT has redesigned three basic versions of Vogue, Lilas, Menthe and Bleu, for the Ukrainian and Russian markets, reported the two countries’ trade news agencies.
Distribution of the redesigned brand was initially launched in Ukraine’s seven biggest cities and then picked up in Russia. According to Vogue’s Ukrainian brand manager, Oksana Mudrik, the idea behind the move was to upgrade the popular brand in line with the latest style tendencies. Vogue is the leader of the super-premium slims segment on the Ukrainian market with a share of 47 per cent. In Russia, Vogue holds 8 per cent of the premium cigarette market and 18 per cent of the superslims segments, according to Rustabak trade news agency.
