Drew Cheshire has been appointed president of NDC Infrared Engineering, the company said.

Previously general manager at the Meriam Process Technologies unit of Scott Fetzer, he also held senior management roles with Ronan Engineering, Teledyne, Jay Industrial Technologies and Emerson Process Management, Cheshire replaces Bromley Beadle who was with NDC for eighteen years.

Also joining NDC is Karl Schmid, as director of customer care for the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region for the sensors, systems and metals divisions. Schmid previously held leadership positions at Voith Paper and Mahlo GmbH & Co.KG. and will be responsible for all EMEA customer care and support of NDC’s product lines.
