CORESTA in-person conferences are back

The first in-person COREEST Conferences after the COVID-19 pandemic will take place in Cancun, Mexico from 8 – 12 October and 15 – 19 October, according to a CORESTA press release.

After continuing to hold online conferences during the pandemic years, all four Study Groups of CORESTA will be holding in-person conferences again this year.
The CORESTA Smoke Science & Product Technology Conference (SSPT2023) will take place from 8 – 12 October in Cancun, Mexico with CORESTA’s Scientific Commission selecting around 100 oral and poster presentations for the Conference, which will discuss, among other things, harm reduction from different perspectives. CORESTA working groups will organize their meetings just before the conference starts from 7 – 8 October and two symposiums are also part of the programme.
The CORESTA Agronomy & Leaf Integrity and Phytopathology & Genetics Conference (AP2023) will also be held in Cancun, Mexico from 15 – 19 October. More than 80 oral and poster presentations were chosen by the Reading Committee and the items of these presentations will be treating the new and emerging needs in tobacco cultivation. Eight working group meetings are being organized as well as the Agricultural Advisory Committee meeting and three workshops.
Online registration for both conferences is now open.
