CTI Invest acquired Torcapack in a deal that will shift administration of the Spanish shoulder-box manufacturer to CTI's Omnipack unit, the company said.

"The acquired activities will provide Omnipack with new shoulder-boxes business opportunities due to improved production capacity, enhanced varieties of production formats as well as a higher degree of operating flexibility," CTI said.
Torcapack makes boxes for the tobacco industry in Antequera, Spain. CTI is an Austrian holding company specialising in packaging and labeling. In addition to Spain-based Omnipack, group companies include Ulikett in Austria, Royale Print & Packaging in Canada, Viappiani with sites in Italy, Brazil, Colombia, Germany and Adhepel in Argentina.
