Electronic cigarette maker eSmokingWorld, a unit of China’s Chic Group, will begin making nicotine liquids later in April at a plant the company describes as one of the most modern in Europe.
Polish experts from the eSmoking Institute in Poznan designed the plant capable of producing 4 million liquid nicotine units per month. ESmokingWorld said it invested EUR 5 million (USD 5.3 million) in the facility to make liquids that conform to standards in the revised EU Tobacco Products Directive.
In addition to its own needs as the largest e-cigarette company in Poland, eSmokingWorld said it would manufacture nicotine liquids for other European e-cigarette makers. Company brands include Volish, Mild, Provog and LiQueen.
