The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized four NJOY products, reports MarketWatch.
The FDA issued marketing granted orders to NJOY for its Ace closed e-cigarette device and three accompanying tobacco-flavoured e-liquid pods: NJOY Ace Pod Classic Tobacco 2.4%, NJOY Ace Pod Classic Tobacco 5% and NJOY Ace Pod Rich Tobacco 5%.
The agency rejected blueberry- and watermelon-flavoured cartridges the company wanted to bring back on the market. The FDA said it is still reviewing NJOY's menthol refill pods, as well as all of NJOY's disposable e-cigarettes.
According to MarketWatch, NJOY is the third largest US e-cigarette maker after Juul Labs and Reynolds American. The FDA has said it will soon issue decisions on Juul and Reynolds American Inc.'s Vuse Alto brand.
