The product registration deadline for manufacturers of newly regulated tobacco products including vaping devices, cigars and shisha has been pushed back by six months, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said.
Manufacturers whose products were on the market prior to the 8 August deeming-rule implementation date have until 30 June, 2017, to register their products with FDA. Registration must be immediate if the product was first manufactured on or after 8 August, FDA said.
