Filthai, a subsidiary of Filtrona Filter Products, has moved to a new 7,000-square-metre facility in Bangkok.

The move to the larger premises facilitates an increase in production as well as the capacity for future expansion for Filthai, which produces standard mono-acetate, flavoured, CPF and dual filters, and highly specialised shaped filters. There is also a 2,500 square metre warehouse and a laboratory.
"The new, fully air-conditioned facility has been designed for optimum machine and material storage and features production and testing equipment, with a factory that meets the ISO 9000 standard," says Filtrona.
The company further says that work on new filter innovations will be undertaken in close conjunction with the Filtrona Regional Development Centre based in Indonesia. (ci)
