The first regional event for the tobacco industry in Asia, TABINFO, staged in Kuala Lumpur from 14 to 16 November 2005 exceeded all expectations.
More than 250 exhibitors took the chance to showcase their products serving the questions and needs of more than 3,769 visitors from Argentina to Zimbabwe who had found their way to the brand new KLCC Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Delegates who attended the accompanying congress were listening to the 25 speakers and gave best votes for the quality of the speeches.
Once more, TABINFO, which is co-organised by Tobacco Journal International, proved to be an extraordinary, highly successful event. However, the organisers are not resting on their laurels. The next tobacco event organised by the TABEXPO coalition, which consists of the two trade publications Tobacco Journal International and Tobacco Reporter as well Dr Kater Marketing, a company that specialises in organising and presenting international exhibitions and congresses, will be staged from 26 to 29 November 2007 in Paris, the charming French capital. Stand space can already be booked. More information is available on http://2007.tabexpo.com/
