Gamucci appointed Peter Jordan, a former tobacco company executive, as chief financial officer of the London-based e-cigarette manufacturer and distributor, the company said.

Jordan is the latest in a string of hires from the tobacco industry that include Chief Executive Officer Tony Scanlan, UK Head of Sales John Dunne, North America CEO Jonathan Cox and Jacqueline Burrows, associate corporate affairs director.
With more than 20 years experience in financial and commercial managment at companies including Rothmans International and British American Tobacco, Jordan will help direct Gamucci's expansion, the company said.
Gamucci is the only e-cigarette company in the United Kingdom with its own factory, in contrast to its UK competitors who outsource product manufacturing, the company said. Founded by Taz and Umer Sheikh, Gamucci has roughly 400 employees, the majority of which are located in Shenzhen, China, and Bangalore, India.
