The government is planning a levy on vaping liquids, including those without nicotine, which could double the price of e-cigarettes, the broadcaster Yle reported.
To date only nicotine-free e-cigarettes are available in Finland, however nicotine versions should be on the market by the end of this year, Yle said. A EUR 0.30 (USD 0.33) per milliliter levy on e-liquid is among changes proposed in the tobacco tax. A final decision is expected at the autumn budget meetings, the broadcaster said.
