Public Health State Secretary Martin van Rijn told parliament the government will propose a display ban for tobacco products in stores and service stations, the NL Times reported.
Van Rijn said business groups were given until 15 Dec to make their own proposals, but those plans did not go far enough, the NL Times said in a story based on a report from ANP news service. Parliament reportedly had asked for a ban.
