Andrew Gray, director of British American Tobacco’s Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region, will replace Jean-Marc Levy as group marketing director on the BAT Management Board from 1 Sept, the company said.
Levy will become director of special projects and leave the Management Board at the end of 2014 to end a 21-year career at BAT that included various directorships and a stint as global brand director for Lucky Strike, BAT said.
Johan Vandermeulen, current BAT Russia general manager, will replace Gray as EEMEA regional director on the Management Board. Tadeu Marroco, who heads strategy, planning, mergers and acquisitions, will join the Board as business development director.
