Habanos bucked a downward trend in luxury goods last year as sales of its Cuban cigars rose 5 per cent to USD 445 million (EUR 421 million), the Spanish news agency EFE reported.
Habanos, which comprises state-run Tabacuba and a Spanish entity of Imperial Brands, made the announcement at the International Cigar Festival in Havana, EFE said.
