Imperial Tobacco selected Aras software to build a unitary global product lifecycle management system to replace multiple outdated systems, Aras announced.

Requirements include a blend of discrete manufacturing, formula and recipe management, said the US software company. Quality and compliance control are part of the software suite.
“In the highly regulated and extremely dynamic tobacco industry, we require a single, complete solution that can keep up with the ever-evolving needs of our business”, said Bertrand Villoteau, Imperial’s chief of processes and systems manufacturing.
