Fontem Ventures, the vapour-product unit of Imperial Tobacco, plans to close a warehouse and office in Scotland due to strategic restructuring, said HeraldScotland.com.

As many as 55 jobs may be lost when the site in Edinburgh is phased out in the last three months of this year, according to the website operated by the Herald & Times newspaper group. Staff consultations have begun.
Edinburgh operations, which include distributing Fontem e-cigarette products, are being transferred to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Charlotte, North Carolina, in the US, HeraldScotland.com said.
