Imperial Tobacco’s major-brand production increased 6 per cent in the nine months ending 30 June, contributing to a 3 per cent rise in revenue, the company said.
Net revenue from key brands Davidoff, Gaulloise, Blondes, West and JPS rose 13 per cent and accounted for about one third of total sales, Imperial said in a trading statement on 24 July.
Overall volume as measured in stick equivalents dipped 3 per cent in the nine month period. Stick equivalents include fine-cut tobacco. (pi)
