Innovia Films has added another slitting machine at its Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) production plant at Ghent, Belgium.

The new facility is a fully automated Atlas CW650 slitting machine, which will produce Innovia Films’ BOPP brand Propafilm™ for the worldwide tobacco industry (unit wrap and clear collation films). It will increase overall tobacco films slitting capacity by 30 per cent, announced Innovia in a press release. 
Innovia Films Ltd, is a major producer of BOPP and cellulose films with production sites in the UK, USA, Belgium and Australia. (ci)
