The company requested to change the retail price of 143 of its products, which include 122 cigarette products, one cigarillo product, three pipe tobacco products, three cut tobacco products and 14 snuff tobacco products.
In addition to that, the company submitted an application to increase the retail price of seven of its Ploom Tech products in the tobacco vapour category. This increase and request was in response to the scheduled excise tax hike which will take effect 1 October across the country, the company said in the press release.
The new retail prices on the tobacco products will take effect 1 October 2018.
