Japan Tobacco International has selected Korea as the first country to relaunch the Mevius premium cigarette with significant packaging changes, according to the Korea Herald.
In April, parent company Japan Tobacco said it would change the packaging on 16 Mevius products distributed in Japan. The design included adding an arc-shaped element to the centre of the pack. The changes, accompanied by three new product launches, were announced to mark the brand’s third anniversary.
JT in 2013 changed the name of its flagship Mild Seven brand to Mevius, and set a goal of making it the leading global premium brand.
