Japan Tobacco International will introduce its new e-cigarette brand, E-Lites Curv, to the German market on 1 July, the company announced in a press release.
The launch will make JTI the first international tobacco company to introduce an e-cigarette product in Germany.
The device was developed by British company Zandera, acquired by the Japan Tobacco group last autumn.
The full E-Lites Curv kit, which includes a USB charger and a spare cartridge, will retail at EUR 13.90 (USD 15.52), the company said.
Curv will also be sold in the UK, where the E-lites brand has been available since 2009.
