Brazilian company Kohltrade Tobacco Trading has signed an exclusive agreement to represent Unicruz Tobacco International and CLP Brazil in their international markets.

In a statement Kohltrade on Friday announced that the agreement covers markets of Eastern Europe, United Arab Emirates, Central America, Mexico, and the United States.
Headquartered in Santa Cruz do Sul, Kohltrade exports flue-cured Virginia and burley tobacco, laminas, stems, scraps, and cut-rag.
Unicruz, which produces Virginia and burley tobacco, cut-rag and other tobacco products, and CLP, a cut-rag tobacco processing company, are part of the same group. CLP is currently expanding its production site and investing in a new threshing plant for 2013. (ci)
