RJ Reynolds Tobacco (RJRT) President and Chief Commercial Officer Debra Crew will become chief operating officer of the cigarette maker under a management reshuffle announced by Reynolds American (RAI) as it integrates Lorillard.
Thomas Adams, who managed the Lorillard merger after leaving his job as RAI chief financial officer in March, will retire 1 Oct, RAI said. RJRT Chief Scientific Officer Jeffery Gentry will take over from Adams and manage the integration project until he retires sometime in the first half of next year.
Nancy Hawley, RJRT senior vice president of operations, will be promoted to executive vice president of operations. Daniel Herko, senior vice president of research and development, will become executive vice president for R&D and executive vice president of RAI Services Company. The changes will take effect on 1 Oct, RAI said.
