The plant is located in Izmir and currently employs approximately 120 people and converts more than 8,000 tonnes of cartonboard annually on two off-set printing lines.
MM Packaging has had a production site in Izmir for three years, supplying packaging for the growing Turkish market. The company said that the acquisition is part of its strategy of continued expansion in dynamic markets.
MM Packaging is Europe's largest manufacturer of folding cartons and a member of the Mayr-Melnhof Group. (ci)
