A class-action suit filed against Santa Fe Natural Tobacco for using descriptives like 'natural‘ and 'additive free‘ has been moved to US District Court in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Associated Press said.
Initially the complaint was submitted in Florida last October against Santa Fe, a subsidiary of Reynolds American. Prior to the suit bearing the names of plaintiffs in California, New York and Florida, the Food and Drug Administration last August warned Santa Fe against making the claims for its Natural American Spirit line of cigarettes.
