Ricardo Oberlander, the British American Tobacco management board member responsible for the Americas, will join the board of directors at Reynolds American as a BAT representative, RAI said.
Oberlander will replace Neil Withington, whose retirement from the BAT management board next April previously was announced. He will leave the RAI board after its 4 Dec meeting, RAI said. BAT owns 42 per cent of RAI through its subsidiary, Brown and Williamson Holdings, and is entitled to five RAI board members.
