Philip Morris Korea said it will begin selling the iQOS tobacco heating stick in Seoul on 5 June, making it the first tobacco company to introduce heat-not-burn in Korea, according to the Korea Herald.
IQOS will be sold at stores set up by the cigarette maker to introduce the product and at some convenience stores and consumer electronic outlets, the newspaper said. A starter kit with the device, charger, cleaning accessories and the tobacco sticks that are placed in the device will go for the equivalent of USD 107 (EUR 97), the Herald said.
