Philip Morris International (PMI) has launched IQOS 3 and IQOS 3 Multi, two new versions of the company’s original IQOS tobacco heated product in Tokyo, Japan, according to a company press release.

The company said that the two new IQOS versions are based on consumer feedback to improve user experience and the design of the tobacco heated product, “while maintaining signature taste, sensory attributes and ritual.”
André Calantzopoulos, PMI’s CEO, commented on the launch of the two new IQOSs saying, “IQOS 3 and IQOS 3 Multi deliver significant improvement and innovation and mark another step toward convincing all men and women who would otherwise continue to smoke to switch to smoke-free alternatives.
“IQOS consumers know that this product changes many things in their lives—we thank them, and we thank Japan for leading this positive change.”
IQOS 3 and IQOS 3 Multi will officially go on sale on 15 November in Japan, Switzerland, the UK, Russia and Colombia.
