Reynolds American (RAI) announced creation of a subsidiary to development and market next-generation vapour and nicotine products, and named an experienced consumer product executive to head the new unit.

Carolyn Hanigan, who has 20 years experience in packaged goods companies including Nestle, Clorox and Kraft Nabisco Foods, will become president of RAI Innovations Company from 19 Jan.
“By centralising new-product development in these areas, we will be able to drive speed to market with new products across a range of platforms and more efficiently meet the preferences of consumers in a rapidly evolving marketplace,” said Susan Cameron, RAI president and chief operating officer.
