Tobacco retailers have until February, 2017 to sell existing inventory instead of the original 1 Sept deadline for new pictorial health warnings on packaging, according to a Myanmar Times report.
Citing a Health Ministry directive, the newspaper said the original deadline had been moved back for retailers, but cigarettes and other tobacco products manufactured after 1 Sept must carry the new warnings.
