The Copenhagen-based company has announced that it has acquired the Irish pipe tobacco manufacturer of Kapp & Peterson Limited on 20 July, according to a press release in Nasdaq.

The acquisition includes the whole premium pipe tobacco brand portfolio of Peterson Pipe Tobacco, which has over 150 years of history and is sold in 52 countries, according to the company press release.
Since 2014, the Irish pipe tobacco manufacturer's brand portfolio has continuously had earnings and volume growth, even though the volumes of this category have shrunk globally, Nasdaq reported. Signature blends of Peterson Pipe Tobacco include Sherlock Holmes, Old Dublin and and Connoisseur's Choice.
