Sewtec, a designer and installer of made-to-order production lines for the tobacco industry, has added a research and development centre with a secure build area for confidential projects, the company said.
GBP 500,000 (EUR 597,000) was invested in a 5,500 square foot building next to its site in Dewsburg, UK, the company said. “With the majority of projects requiring considerable capital investment from companies, the Sewtec facility will work alongside customer teams to assess the feasibility and costings for any proposed new system and create intial test rigs, “ the company said.
