Leszek Sikora will become chief executive of International Tobacco Machinery (ITM) Poland next March when CEO Andrew Stanikowski steps down after 22 years as head of the Poland operation, ITM said.
Sikora joined ITM Poland in 1992 as an engineer and has been a Board member since 2007. He will become chief on 1 March. ITM Poland is part of Netherlands-based ITM Group and makes filter manufacturing technology. Stanikowski started the Polish ITM operation in 1991.
Stanikowski, 63, is stepping down to make way for a new generation, ITM said. Sikora is 47. Stanikowski will continue to advise ITM Poland in a non-executive role.
