Scandinavian Tobacco Group will more closely integrate four North American cigar, pipe tobacco and fine-cut subsidiaries to broaden the product pallet for its customers, STG said.

Exeutive Vice President for STG North America Craig Reynolds will assume leadership of the cluster comprised of General Cigar, Cigars International, STG Land and STG Canada from 1 January 2017. “We believe that this will benefit our customers and drive further growth for our business in the US,” Reynolds said.
The four companies would continue to operate as separate businesses, STG said. Based in Denmark, STG is a market leader in the US handmade cigar sector and, in Canda, for cigars and pipe tobacco.
