The Tann Group on 8 September celebrated its official opening ceremony of its new tipping paper plant, Tann Nevskiy.
Located in Pskov, Russia, Tann Nevskiy started the production of tipping papers earlier this year. The plant offers single and multicolor rotogravure printing on tipping paper with micro/macro laser perforation and electro perforation.
Parent company Trierenberg Holding said the new factory will serve as "hub for future activities for the group" in the Russian Federation and supply the cigarette industry with the highest available quality of tipping papers. The plant's main activities will be certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in order to meet the high standards of the tobacco industry, according to the group.
At the first stage of the plant approximately 80 jobs will be created. Trierenberg Holding has nine production plants worldwide with around 1300 employees. (ci)
