In July, Pakistan’s tobacco exports increased by an incredible 415 per cent compared to the same month in the previous year, reports the Pakistan Observer.

During the month of July 2022, Pakistan exported tobacco worth a total of USD 4.872 million up 415.01 per cent from the USD 0.946 million exported in July 2021, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The amount of tobacco exported also rocketed up by 228.51 per cent from 470 metric tons of tobacco exported in July 2021 to 1,544 metric tons exported in the same month of 2022.
