Travellers returning from Cuba are no longer bound by a USD 100 (EUR 91) limit on the value of cigars they bring back as part of a US government package that further eases restrictions between the two countries.
Two years ago the government lifted the embargo imposed in the 1960s against Cuba, but travellers were limited to cigars with a combined value of USD 100. Under a series of measures announced by the Treasury Department on 14 Oct, monetary restrictions on cigars and alcohol were lifted.
