The US Tobacco Cooperative (USTC) appointed Fred McClintock vice president for information technology, responsible for IT operations and long term systems planning, the company said.

McClintock brings IT experience both in retail and manufacturing to the grower-owned cooperative. “His extensive background running large scale multi-location operations makes him a natural fit for USTC, said Chief Executive Stuart Thompson.
USTC, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, purchases, processes and markets member crops to the industry both in the US and abroad. The cooperative also manufactures tobacco products.
