DUBAI
WVS has opened registration

The World Vape Show (WVS), the first international vape expo and conference in the UAE, will return to Dubai from 16–18 June and pre-registration is now open. In addition, WVS teams up with MHRA.

WVS, which launched in September 2021, provided global manufacturers and suppliers with a unique opportunity to showcase hundreds of products to thousands of international retailers, wholesalers, distributors and consumers in Dubai.
The organisers announced the show will be 50 per cent bigger than the launch event. Event Director WVS, Jake Nixon, is looking forward to welcoming a global B2B audience to Dubai once again. “We’re so excited to be hosting the World Vape Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre once again on 16 – 18 June 2022. (…) We have a number of show features including our WVS conference programme, show awards, evening industry parties, on stand entertainment plus much more.”

Visitors can now register and purchase tickets online. As TJI reader, you can use the special code MEDIAPARTNER100 to get free entry.

Furthermore, WVS has announced it teams up with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Working closely together, WVS and the MHRA will put the tools in place to ensure exhibitors are compliant with UK regulations. This will give retailers and buyers the confidence to make purchases, knowing they are buying quality products that are legal for supply across the UK.
Dr Laura Squire, MHRA Chief Healthcare Quality and Access Officer, said: “This and further collaborations are an important step towards the availability of fully compliant e-cigarette products in the UK market. We are working to progressively engage with similar shows in the future, so we can make sure that companies that exhibit their products at these events are compliant with the UK regulations.”
